The LEGO® PlayStation® (set 72306) was revealed on 3 September 2026, and it’s the first time the original PlayStation has been made in brick. LEGO’s pitch is that fans can "press 'Start' on a brick building trip down memory lane", which is a bit cheesy written down but is honestly about right for this one. It lands on 4 October...

Summer LEGO Highlights 2026: The Best New Sets to Display

Summer 2026 has turned into one of the richest LEGO windows in years for anyone who builds to display rather than to play. A new Dinosaur Fossils skeleton has landed, and the biggest wave is...

Bedroom LEGO Display Ideas

Most LEGO collectors don't have a dedicated display room. They have a bedroom - often a small one - and a collection that keeps growing. The good news is that bedroom constraints force the kind of intentional curation that makes a display feel considered rather than cluttered. These are the LEGO bedroom ideas that actually work in practice: from wall-mounted...

How to Rotate Your LEGO Display Seasonally

There is a particular pleasure in stepping back and looking at a LEGO® display that genuinely fits the moment. A Hogwarts castle bathed in the low winter light of a December evening. A botanical garden set catching the soft spring light in April. A sprawling Star Wars scene assembled just in time for May the 4th. The problem most serious...

How to Protect Retiring LEGO Sets

Every year, LEGO retires hundreds of sets. Once a set is discontinued, the price on the secondary market typically rises. Some sets double or triple in value within a few years of retirement. Others become genuinely scarce. For collectors who bought ahead of retirement, or who are now watching the retirement lists, the question is not whether these sets are...

Well folks… here I am again… This time, it’s the 72037 Mario Kart set (1972pcs). I do not profess to be a Mario Fan… I never had a Nintendo as a boy, and the whole ‘Platform Game’ genre was never my thing - although I must confess - in my early 20’s, I spent many a long session at my...

Should You Glue Your LEGO® Sets? Pros & Cons

When it comes to building and displaying LEGO® sets, there's one debate that can really split the brick-loving community: to glue or not to glue? For some, the idea of gluing bricks together feels like sacrilege. For others, it's a practical solution to keep intricate sets safe, especially those prone to breakage or that are displayed in high-traffic areas. In...

How to Keep Your LEGO® Sets Dust-Free

Whether you're showing off your prized LEGO® Rivendell or you've just spent the weekend assembling the UCS Millennium Falcon, there's one thing that can ruin the look of even the most magnificent build: dust. LEGO® The Lord of the Rings: The Shire™ (10354) Set Review

A Comfortable Return to Middle-earth By the time I'd finished the first few bags, it was clear – this was going to be a nostalgic, gentle journey rather than an all-guns-blazing, Rivendell-style epic. And honestly? That suits the theme perfectly. From the moment you open the box, you know you're in Tolkien territory. This build is an invitation to Bilbo’s...
